Chappaqua School District Ranked Among The Nation's Best

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- When it comes to education in the United States, the Chappaqua Central School District gets mostly A’s.

TheStreet.com has unveiled its list of the best school districts in the United States, including the Chappaqua Central School District, which ranked No. 10 on the list.

Rankings are determined using data from government and public data sets, the website’s own proprietary data and more than four million opinion-based survey responses from more than 280,000 students, recent alumni and parents.

Chappaqua scored an A+ for academics, a B- for student culture and diversity and an A for resources and facilities. The school district of 3,960 students averaged SAT scores of 660 on math, 650 on reading and 670 on writing, as well as an average of 31 on the ACT. The school district is considered 74 percent proficient in math and/or reading by state standards and received a 4.1 out of 5 on parent/student surveys regarding overall experience.
